RoHS Policy
EU Directives 2011/65/EU and 2015/863 restrict the use of 10 substances in the
manufacture of specific types of electrical and electronic equipment.

Gigatronix does not manufacture equipment that is legally obliged to comply with EU Directives 2011/65/EU and 2015/863, but does recognise that RoHS compliance of its own components is required to support companies that do have this obligation.

Gigatronix takes all reasonable steps to ensure that the product listed on this document does not contain any of the restricted substances in concentrations and applications banned by the Directive. The restricted substances and maximum allowed concentrations in the homogenous material are:

REACH Policy and Statement
Gigatronix and its products, as defined by the European Union REACH regulation, do not require registration with the European Chemicals Industry (ECHA). However we do recognise our environmental responsibilities and actively engage within our supply chain to ensure Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) are not present in our products.

Gigatronix takes all reasonable steps to ensure that the substances listed on the European Chemicals Industry (ECHA) candidate list of SVHCs are not contained in products in a concentration above 0.1 % (by weight).

Conflict Minerals Policy and Statement
With reference to U.S. SEC’s Conflict Minerals Rule of 22nd August 2012, Gigatronix Limited can confirm the following:

Gigatronix Limited is fully aware of its responsibilities under the SEC’s Conflict Minerals Rule. Gigatronix Limited regularly reviews and maintains its Conflict Minerals Rule Compliance Data using the latest Conflict Minerals Reporting Template.

Gigatronix current Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (Revision 6.31) is available on request. Third party products specified or free issued by customers shall not be covered by this statement of compliance or the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template and the obligation to ensure compliance will remain with the customer.

Anti-Bribery Policy and Statement
Gigatronix is committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in its business activities in the UK and overseas. This policy outlines Gigatronix position on preventing and prohibiting bribery, in accordance with the Bribery Act 2010.

Gigatronix will not tolerate any form of bribery by, or of, its employees, agents or consultants or any person or body acting on its behalf. Senior management is committed to implementing effective measures to prevent, monitor and eliminate bribery.

This policy applies to all employees of Gigatronix, and to temporary workers, consultants, contractors, agents and subsidiaries acting for, or on behalf of, Gigatronix within the UK and overseas. Every employee and associated person acting for, or on behalf of, Gigatronix is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of business conduct. Any breach of this policy is likely to constitute a serious disciplinary, contractual and criminal matter for the individual concerned and may cause serious damage to the reputation and standing of Gigatronix.

Gigatronix may also face criminal liability for unlawful actions taken by its employees or associated persons under the Bribery Act 2010. All employees and associated persons are required to familiarise themselves and comply with this policy, including any future updates that may be issued from time to time by Gigatronix.

Ethical Trading and Modern Day Slavery Policy and Statement
Gigatronix is committed to operating in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to modern slavery and human trafficking.

Non-compliances will be assessed on a case by case basis and appropriate remedial measures actioned as deemed necessary. Where appropriate this will include cessation of trade with non-compliant suppliers and customers.

Code of Conduct
The Gigatronix code of conduct applies to all aspects and stakeholders of our business and defines our purpose, behaviours and relationships to enable our Mission, Vision and Values to be achieved.
This code of conduct is compiled, promoted and upheld by the Gigatronix leadership.

Employees
Gigatronix employees can expect a safe, ethical and legal working environment and be treated with trust and respect from the leadership and their fellow colleagues.
Each employee receives a copy of the 'Staff Handbook' which contains full details of the responsibilities, rights, expectations and operating procedures.

Customers
Gigatronix customers can expect a professional and focussed service for quality products that are fully compliant with all legal trading requirements. Customer and prospective customer relationships are treated as confidential.

Supply Chain
Gigatronix suppliers can expect a business relationship which maintains integrity, confidentiality and follows global laws and regulations. The company will continuously avoid any conflicts of interests, bribery or corruption and in return will expect a reciprocal relationship.

Social Responsibility
Gigatronix is fully aware and committed to its social and environmental responsibilities.
Environmental initiatives, including waste management and energy reduction, are part of our ongoing environmental policy to reduce our environmental footprint.
